After an exciting inaugural Punta Fuego Yacht Club Sailing Championship Series-Hobie Getaway Class, the club is announcing the start of the 2015-2016 season. The club’s racing committee is planing to introduce new and exciting racing formats and concepts for the second season.
These include popular new concepts presently used in the successful Extreme Sailing Series and other international events brining the race course closer to the spectators, mark rounding options, drop and double point races and more all designed to make racing more enjoyable, challenging and competitive throughout the seven racing weekends.

Official Notice of Race/Sailing Instructions for the 1st race scheduled for October 1, 2015 shall be sent by next week. Tentative plan is to combine the possible re-sceduled PHINSAF Tali Regatta with the PFYC Getaway race with 2 possible awards. PFYC race award will count for October 31, Saturday race only, while PHINSAF race award will count for October 31 (Saturday) and November 1 (Sunday) races. Entrance fees apply to PHINSAF 2 day race.
